Nice Title Kerry... *keeps comment to herself ;)*

I finally got to meet Jason King from Rockhampton, during his visit to
Brisbane this weekend. We did the Lego Shopping Tour Of Brisbane [as
trademarked by Richie Dulin], consisting of the CBD and Garden City,
covering Myer, DJs, Target, Kmart, BigW, TRU and Toyworld. A lesser man
might have quailed at this challenge, but Jason was up for it.

The best discounts of the day were at Toyworld (both in the Myer Centre and
Queen Street), which has the

5987 Dino Research Compound for $80 [lots of tan, brown and green in this
set]
4561 Railway Express for $180 [awful train, but it comes with a regulator
etc]
7161 Gungan Sub for $45 [I think]
5920 Island Racer for $4 [they must have had 100s of these]
???? Black Case containing basic bricks for $15 [Mel, do you know the
number?]

Thy number for that set is *pulls Rabbit out of hat* DA DA!... #4249 :) -
even though the little brochure/booklet in there says #4285

This is a good set for what you get.  Store all those funny bits that you
can never think of where else to store them, that LEGO include with their
sets...

Umm... I don't actually have a full list of what's in the set... but maybe
this can help:  Red roof tiles (slopes)-(and a few? blue with red stars on
them)... Blue Window Frame and Green shutters, Blue Door, set of 4 wheels
(4WD style), a coupla clear bricks, Mr Minfig himself... Windscreen (Trans
light blue), a coupla plates, a small 8x16 green base plate, Steering
wheel... yellow seat, and a whole bunch of other bricks (1x's and 2x's), ya
get blue, white, red, yellow...

Hmmmm that's all I can really say (no listing anywhere to show you how many
bricks in there as I already opened it some weeks ago). For $14.?? you can't
go wrong!!! Great LEGO (starter kit) present for any kids you know too
(Birthday/Xmas etc)

Hope that helps :)

Mel (who hopefully gets a 'LEGO room' this weekend!!! - OMGICANTWAIT).

Note only the Black Case appears in the Toyworld catalogue, so I cannot say
if these discounts are available at all Toyworlds, or only at our Mr Toys
Toyworlds.
