Hi Tara,
I was in the same situation where UPS notified me that I had to pay tax, but
after some to-ing and fro-ing. I didn't end up having to pay anything to
UPS. That said I haven't received any notice of debt collection YET. And I'm
moving out of Melbourne next week, so I hope they dont think i did the
runner on them.
But if you need any reference regarding "other deliveries" that had trouble
from UPS, feel free to contact me for further info such as order number etc.
