(...) Just a suggestion, but if you're hoping to have people from other states as well, sticking with one of the capitals might be better. Perhaps see who else shows an interest first and then set the location eg make it Sydney unless it ends up (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

So I'd suggest picking the venue on the basis of who is offering to host such an event, rather than start with picking a venue. So, who is offering to (...) (...) I'm happy to organise the Hornsby Heights Community Hall again... it's not exactly central, but it is cheap ($17.50 afternoon plus $17.50 for the evening). It's also very convenient for me :-) There are some other halls available through (...) (23 years ago, 28-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
