Sydney drivers are agressive yes, but they can be equally polite too. I've
noticed in my short time here, that there's a high degree of inconsideration
in Melbourne, and no thank you gestures when you perform a friendly act (now
thats annoying!)

Also I've noticed that there's a high tendency to change lanes, swerve and
generally not keep moving in a straight line.  Are red lights an indication
that this is the last chance you have to get through the intersection?

I suspect that the legacy of having trams (half trains, half buses not sure
exactly what they are) on the roads has produced these minor annoyances:
from a Sydney drivers persepective ;)

Santosh
I like Melbourne, even though every drive is such an adventure :)
