I was fortunate enough to find an 8466 today at a reasonable price. It took me about three hours to build and is a very cool set. At $180-$200 it seems like good value for money compared to the 8448 which came out at around $280, considering that (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I got mine from OzBricks, and sticker sheet is present & correct (unlike my C3PO whose sticker sheet was all screwed up and basically unusable). I'm also a "take 'em or leave 'em" person when it comes to stickers 8?) The only bit of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I got mine as well, my stickers were alright, but the instructions took a bit of a beating. I think the instructions should be put into a plasic bag to stop the other parts from creasing/ripping them. (...) Also the steering goes almost all of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) a (...) Yeah, that's a serious disadvantage of the new "minimalist" packaging. Even something like the old technic sets that had a pocket in the box lid for the instructions / stickers / flubber[tm]. Though the instructions are lots thicker (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
