I too have been contacted today by UPS about my order. However their
computer tracking system was down this evening so I couldn't ask any more
questions.

What I think we should do on Lugnet here is:

1) Find out when people had placed their order
2) Find out whos been contacted so far by UPS
3) Find out whos been contacted about this situation by Lego (or S@H)
4) Find out who has any further information that can be used as reference
material to UPS (such as letters/emails/phone conversations with Lego)

I realise we have been told by Jake McGee of Lego Direct that we are not
expected to have to pay any more than the amount we paid to S@H. However I
think we need to convice UPS a bit more than just a reference to an Online
Forum. So whatever information anyone has would be useful.

So for me:

1) Placed my Order on Saturday 6th October

2) Contacted by Phone Thursday the 11th morning by UPS, indicating that I
owed money for Cutoms and GST. I was then passed onto a phone supervisor who
provided me with his email address. I then passed on an email indicating the
situation and that Frances Schroter has sent them a fax already (see
http://news.lugnet.com/loc/au/?n=7356 and
http://news.lugnet.com/loc/au/?n=7376). But have not received any further
emails or phone calls from them.

3) I have sent emails to both the S@H email address for us in Australia ->
shop.at.home.europe@LEGO.com and a plea for help to Jake McGee of Lego Direct.

4) To this date i have no further information other than that provided on
Lugnet from Jake, Note that nowhere on the S@H site does it indicate that
there are any problems etc.. Will keep posting on here as the situation
continues.

I hope that others who are having similar problems respond to this so we can
all contribute in resolving this problem. I have not tried Ringing the
number given on our confirmation email but will try that tomorrow.
