The really funny thing about this is that this set has always been extremely
rare in Tas and it gets always gets snaffled day 1 at full price ($208)...
and yet suddenly LA can make available heaps of them at a greatly reduced price!
The Toyworld catalogue* started yesterday. There were at least 20 of the
King Leo's castle (price unmarked) stacked just inside the door of Toyworld
Hobart yesterday at opening. They were selling very fast (as was all sorts
of non Lego stuff), the store was absolutely packed and the register queues
were 25 minutes long. I have never ever seen that store like that before,
not even close to it. But I digress.
If Hobart, (or where-ever you are) has sold out and you have a credit card,
try ringing Devonport Toyworld, they'll put it on the Redline bus service
for you for about $5 (in Tasmania only, obviously). Their Lego stock is
slower to move than elsewhere.
*Launceston Toyworld generally doesn't run the catalogue for some bizarre
reason, though I cannot be sure that this applies to this specific sale.
