I would have to agree with this statement.

I am not to sure what everyone got, but I will take Sue Ann's word for it, I
can tell you what I didn't get!!! I didn't get nearly enough castle minifigs
as I would have liked. But I will hopefully be rectifying that situation.

Overall it was a good little trading session (and yes tough negotiations
'WERE' needed to make the trading fair).
Note: Its always hard to part with a set of Lego that even though you don't
really need, but because you have built it, becomes too nice to trade.

And yes, I was exposed to the word "flubber" (I was not listening when the
definition was given out - so I am still not really sure what it means).

It's around 9.45am on Sunday morning. I'm sitting at my computer. I should
be pricing sets of Lego instead of reading email and news.

Last night my house was invaded by the hordes of Lego-hungry people. Well,
okay, Ben was there, and George and Martin and the northern imports of
Richard, Richie and James. It was around 9pm by the time most people
arrived. When I next looked at the clock it was 11.15pm!

We traded and swapped and bargained and acquired. Richard got his hulls,
James got rid of lots of spare bits and George proved to be a tough
negotiator. Ben scrambled for loose flubber and I put the finishing touches
on Devo.

Around midnight, the troops began to leave and I wearily cast myself upon my
pillow for a night of Lego filled dreams and howling cats (but that's
another story)

onward to today's meet

cheers

sue ann

(...) Looks like a new term has evolved here. Maybe it needs adding to the FAQ :-) Flubber - The extra bits of paper (catalogues etc.) that comes with a Lego set. Martin (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
