Yep, happy all round about this. I'm particularly keen on the Technic
re-releases as there were many sets I missed out on in my dark ages that
look particularly tasty!! I could also develop an unhealthy attraction to
Pirates too, subsequent to my "discovery" of Castle, Ninja and Adventurers.

It's always good to feel optimistic about LA every once in a while. Then
reality kicks in. Although looking at it from the other side of the world,
Europe tends to suffer from the USA syndrome in that anything non-Europe
related is just not worth their attention. The USA is an exception in that
they make so much bloomin' noise that you can't help but notice them!!
So in the end we (Aussies, Kiwis, etc) do tend to get forgotten about in the
Grand Lego Strategy (GLS). It would be interesting to find out what the
Australian/NZ contribution to TLC's turnover is, to see whether or not it's
more than just geographic persecution.
