Possible new stock of 1998 sets on clearance at Target?

Hi all,
There may or may not be some "new" stock of 1998 sets on clearance at
Target. At Target Hobart I just picked up: 6033 for $3, 6580 for $10, 6445
for $10. These were less than 50% of Target's stated regular price (for
which I have no data to verify!).
Neither the 6580 or 6445 have been on Target's shelves since 1999, however,
there was only one copy of each. I couldn't find anything else along these
lines.
The reason I noticed these was that there were shelf tags* (standard yellow,
not clearance red) with the normal and special price marked, which caused me
to go looking for them, they were not located near their tags, and they
definitely have not been there before. There was a catch: the scanner came
up with Target's regular price and it took me 15 minutes to find someone to
call through to the register so that I could get the special prices.
So, it might pay to check next time you're passing through your local Target!
*Target Hobart has about 1/10th of the shelf tags it should as a matter or
course, so they sort of stood out! Normally the scanner is your best friend
at Target, not the tags!
