I must say the ones i have seen look good. But i am no expert on trains.

| (...) Well I think it has to be said that lego US and lego Europe have out done themselves with a range of 20 odd trains (same models in five colours for each ).Cons from looking at the pics not all locos come with the motor to help keep the price (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
