Sometimes it can be hard to get through. But they don't like to deal over
the phone regarding a piece of Lego, they will ask that you write to them

I've never had to write to sort these out, always over the phone, and while we usually offer to send back the offending broken piece (not missing ones, obviously!) they've never wanted us to*. (...)
