Perhaps we can label our display as a "Entierly New Concept in Model
Railroading, never before seen in Australian model train exhibitions"...but
not actually say its Lego. If they ask we just say "its a secret". If they
get pushy, we'll tell them but then hit'em with a NDA, they seem to be the
fashion lately.

Though the Kitbash etc.. does sound funky!
We could always pursue the line that its a display of how kids can be
introduced into the world of toy trains.

I still haven't heard from NSW-AMRA, I think they may have thought I was
having them on, or they don't want lego because it's not serious or
whatever. Does someone else (i.e an Adult) want to give it a go? Perhaps if
we said that we "kitbash from precision moulded Danish ABS components, using
a selective comrpession scale of <insert proper measure here> to create high
detail modular scenery and rolling stock" instead of "we build with LEGO"
perhaps they'll take us a bit more seriously. Or if instead of trying for
their flagship show a smaller (unfortunatly sooner) show may be the go, see
what info is along that line.

Welcome back dude.

Maybe sending them some pictures is in order....

Still baldly going...

<snip> (...) <snip> Hmmm.. You had better not say TOY trains, it is a "Model Railway", not a toy (According to them, anyway, we don't want to get them off-side) Same rule goes for describing the model as a "train set" John (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
