We have Slugs, Bugs, Mugs/Vugs, Tlugs & possibly Plugs.

I think the Tasmanian contingent selected HUGS.
If they had Tasmanian abbreviated at the start, they could have been THUGS,
but Deidre and Frances definitely are not thugs.

I think it is about time for Adelugs's (it's much better than SALUGs)

There are 3 of us posting from SA/Adelaide now.
* Carl Watson (me)
* Paul Baulch (recently de-lurked)

I think you have mixed up Paul.B mixed up with the new person.

* Jane McDermott (good to have you back!)
* I also know of 2 non-lugneter's that would be interested in a Lego get
together.

So Paul & Jane, are you interested?
Maybe a meeting some time in January
What suburb do each of you live in? I'm in Flagstaff Hill.

Slugs, Mugs, Bugs, Tlugs:
* What type of things do you get up to at your meetings?
* Do you meet at someone's house or do you hire a hall?
* Any tips on what we should/shouldn't do?

At the 'just formed' stage it's probably easiest to meet at a house.
That's one less person lugging Lego around town ;^)
People can bring their favourite sets, some MOCS they have constructed or new
purchases or old catalogues or interesting elements to show and tell.
It would be very strange if the one group of people all had the same things as
an interest, so even standard sets from other themes are interesting to see in
the ABS. Set up a train layout !
MOC builders always have bits they can't use, so bring along elements to swap.
For people into Castle or Pirates or Space, there are versions of BrikWars to
play, or make a simpler version or play your own rules.
Something I am planning for future meetings, is to split into pairs or groups
and take 3 or 4 small sets and have a building competition, each group using
identical sets of sets.
In the future if you get enough people, think about building a layout together,
be it a town, castle or space or train diorama.
Since everyone has something in common, you will never be short of conversation
or things to look at.

Whilst discussing the naming conventions, someone mentioned 'Club 0637'
- 'Lego Down Under'. I liked this idea & created an animated logo.

(Thanks to Jay Cal for doing the text for me).
I think this is a great idea, but I'm not sure if it will supersede 'LegOz'.

Very professional logo, but I'm not sure if a certain company would be amused.
Legoz (or ?) is still bubbling away in the primordial slime and forming.
For the time being each state should be concentrating on getting there own
state groups happening and talking Lego.
Good luck with the meeting, even two AFOL's are enough, it's guaranteed fun.
