I'm pretty sure the weekly quiz idea has merits of it's own, but could you
possibly consider shortening the time-delay between questions and answers?
The last one went unanswered, and if I remember correctly you extended it a
week longer and still no-one except me even volunteered answers ...
I do believe the question you asked, though, was of the particularly rare
variety, and concerned some tidbit of information about your own catalogue
set, or had questions only you might be able to answer, given the wording of
that question ...
Perhaps being less specific will guarantee more "possible" correct answers?
:-)
Short version: If nobody looks like being able to answer in the first
couple of days, perhaps more hints (less-subtle ones even?) are in order?
