Great idea about the numbering system.
It gets too confusing working out where they are held.

A while back someone was mentioning a change of name.
'Club 0637' (Lego upside down).
I like the sound of 'Club six thirty-seven'
The idea was to have a similar looking logo to the official Lego logo.
Not having the word 'Lego' in it would avoid legal problems.
When I was at work I made a little logo.

It was done from memory, I will make a better one next week.

Let me know what you think.

I know this has been discussed before but I think we need to resolve the
numbering system for meetings if LegOz is to appear to be a cohesive
group. There was a recentl discussion(1) about starting a National web
page and if it is to announce meetings or anything like that they have
to be organised in a useful manner.

Now that we have at least 4 cities arranging LegOz meetings around
Australia, I feel that the incremental numbering system that was fine
for Sydney and Melbourne is becoming too difficult to use. It's only a
matter of time before too cities have meetings on the same day (I
believe that there was one day between Brisbane's first meet and a
Melbourne meet).

I propose we divide the meeting between either states or regions. If we
use regions then we allow for the fact that some of the larger towns and
cities outside the capitals could arrange something if so desired. Under
this scheme we would have regions such as Mel (Melbourne), Syd, SEQ
(S.E. Qld encompassing Brisbane and the Gold Coast), Hob, Ade, Per etc.

Any meeting would then look like:
LegOz Mel.3.2001 which would also serve to show where it is in the
header.

Please comment on this and let's get our Postcodes working.

Tim
