LegOz 2000.6 held in Tasmania today. Present were Deidre and Frances
(ages withheld) and Tom (age 5) and Kathryn (age 4). Both husbands were
present but went into the shed to talk about their wives spending money on
Lego. Deidre and Tom brought their soccer sets (all of them), Duplo train
and castle sets. Frances thought the castle was a disappointment compared
to the castle sets of the 1980's. The children enjoyed the train set. The
soccer game set was a hit. First game Frances defeated Deidre 5 - 0. Second
game Tom defeated Frances 7 - 3. Frances has to buy a soccer game set now.
Deidre enjoyed the town sets from the 1980's, this is real Lego, Tom
enjoyed the 12V train set. Deidre enjoyed looking at all the Technic dating
back to the 1970's. Tom thoroughly enjoyed playing with the Red Beard Runner
The Millenium Falcon was also on display, but was thought to be a disappoint
ment. Yes, we did take some photos, will be scanned in when they are developed.
