Sadly, yes. And as a currently enrolled university student, I'd like to
stand up and be counted as saying that I am happy to pay my student union
fees. Using the "logic" he applies to voluntary student unions, it could be
equally be argued taxpayers should not have to pay for services provided by
the government which they don't use and/or do not approve of. But,
strangely, Brendan Nelson is not in favour of voluntary income tax. What a
inconsistent man he is.

Frivilous? Lego? Well, in my book, that's two black marks against Brendan
Nelson this week.
But notwithstanding this, I never knew that there was a UQ Lego club
(despite working on the UQ campus for the past 15+ years), but yeah verily,
