    I searched the Customs WWW site to find out if there is any difference between the taxes etc applicable to new vs used goods. Failing to find any information, I sent an e-mail to their contact address information@customs.gov.au and had an answer (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
