Mel Brown would like to send an appology to the Bricksmeet attendees, as she
will be unable to attend due to comming down with chickenpox.  She would also
like to extend a further appology to anyone waiting for orders etc. as she will
be unable to send them, and will also be unable to correspond via email due to a
lack of an internet connection at home.

Martin on behalf of Mel Brown

Hi all.... Thanks Martin and others who posted about this in previous posts...

Unfortunately a few weeks ago my son came down with Chickenpox and next thing
you know I got it too :( actually I came out in the rash one day before I were
meant to fly down to Sydney to the meet :(  I still have credit with virgin blue
so I still plan to come down to Sydney as there are a few other things I have to
do too while down there... Hopefully you Sydney bunch will have a meet on around
the same time, so I can keep my bags packed with the stuff I built and was going
to bring down to this current meet...

I hope you all had a good time anyway... I wish I could have been there... I
need a holiday after this awful illness though...

I'm using a friends comp at the moment since other home problems have left me
with no internet at all for awhile...

my email is legomel@yahoo.com.au if you need to contact me... (will respond
asap)

Anyway time to go back to bed where I should be... hope your weekend went off
really well!

Hope to be at next years event... Mel (spottysaurus)

I feel your pain Mel.
I went through this when I was a couple of years younger, and it is true that
it's worse to get as an adult.  Imagine a spike on the top of your head and a
three pound sledge hammering away day and night.  And then, when the pain fades,
comes the itching (DON'T DO IT!!!!).  The best thing was that a Doctor friend
prescribed me big ol' Vicoden and Benadryl doses and there are three days I
still don't remember (bless him).
Medicate and vegitate, that's all you can do.
Best wishes & get well,
-Baron Von Aaron-
