Agreed, it looks like a SAM battery, and isn't that a bit unappropriate for
a set that was originally exclusive to airline companies (according to
Brickset).  Nothing more that I want to think about as I'm on a flight than
surface-to-air missles :)

Just to give LEGO the benefit of the doubt, you think that SAM looking thing
might really just be some kind of four-armed robot guy?  I know its a
stretch,  but you never know...

On the other hand, LEGO hasn't seemed to shy away from military themes for
their back of the box alternate ideas.  Look at the back of the 7163
Republic Gunship box, there's a pretty good looking fighter jet.
