Hi All,
My Aussie icon in LEGO, the HZ model Holden Utility, is nearing completion
and I have uploaded some new pics showing body, engine, suspension and
differential detail. I still need to create a gearbox, steering column and
interior when I get some free time.
The car was modelled from photographs in various street machine mags and
from studying the odd ute that crossed my path. I have tried to recreate
the look of a Holden Ute as acurately as possible.

| Man, you have to promote this to Lego, and hopefully they will accept the idea, I would love to see this come out as a Model team Lego theme for cars. I love this. Awesome! Of course, it's up to you whether you want to sell your idea. Colby. (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

| (...) I'm not really one for cars, but that's an icon alright! (...) if pics and the like were your primary source of design I must say you done very well. very well indeed. Flipin' heck Trav (-|-) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

| (...) This is fantastic, Braith. Have you got plans for spotlights, VB, RMW & Bundy stickers & CAT mudflaps? ;-) She'd look a ripper doing a spot of circle work. Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.au)
