I was talking to the shop assistant at my local TRU, and they said that they had received a shipment of LEGO but couldn't put any of it out until November 25th. They didn't even know what was in the shipment as they didn't have an inventory list or (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

The Chemist chain Soul Pattison has a couple of Lego items in it's cat. Basic set 4219 is $21.95 (rrp $28.95). Lego Duplo Capsules are $5.95 (rrp $7.95). The 4219's were at Toyworlds for $19.9x, but they seem to have gone. I use one of the Duplo (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I think K-mart are only restocking for Xmas. Some of these value packs are a misnomer, as the sets inside are often cheaper bought individually at Big W. The most glaring example is a set of three ninja 118x series I saw in a value pack at KM (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

At Kmart Geelong i picked up a "Value Pack" containing sets 6707, 6618 and 6619 - the smallest of the race sets for 12 dollars (The one you don't get is the tiger guy) It was the first interesting thing i'd seen there in ages, the same place only (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

If anyone is still interested, TRU in Frankston (Vic) still has 4 of the 8448 Super Cars for $96 (they are hidden around a corner, so you have to look for them). They seem to have woken up to the fact, that they had a 25% off sale on an already (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
