  Re: LegOz 2001.1 :)

(...) I would add LegOz to the start, so that they relate to each other. LegOz2001.VIC.1 or LegOz.2001.NSW.1 Let's keep the state abbreviations, because that's what these groupings are. -pw (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

  anyone here from perth?

Having just come out of my dark ages (with an 8448, an 8237, an 8247 and an 8500 no less) I want to know if there is anyone else here who is in perth, perhaps a small get together? (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

TRU 8448 sale and shopping report for morley and canning vale

TRU in morley has the 8448 on sale. I think that the price I paid was 129.00 which is a pretty good price to pay I think :). TRU perth doesnt have any so dont bother going there. I dont know if this sale extends to TRUs east of these parts but it (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Good call. There's a Technic Battle Droid that stands on the low partition that separates my station from the next. He's quite a popular fellow :-) Richard Still baldly going... (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

  MF Mods

(...) Naw, I just liked it better a bit longer and sleeker. PBY engineers have a stylish streak too! (...) Mmmm. I really like the set, just not the instructions. Playability-wise, its not bad, but I'm not an interiors kind of guy, so having it come (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Port Block Yards

(...) Thanks for the help guys. After a while you lose track and need someone else's keen eyes and mind :-) I'll sort some corrections this weekend, and hope to post more widely over the weekend. Richard Still baldly going... (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Black Cat Big Rig -- not so big anymore!

It seems to be generally agreed that the 5571 Black Cat Big Rig (and other variants) is the set with the largest number of pieces. Well, it looks like Lego is going to break this record big time with a new Statue of Liberty set (that isn't going to (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LegOz 2000.7 wrap up. - WARNING

I already got the Tow truck with the Super car last week. I picked up an 8266 competition set, a bit weird, but it has a motor, battery box and lots of other bits for the price of the motor kit ($75). I also got a Rock Raiders Granite Grinder (4940) (...)   Re: Port Block Yards

(...) Great idea Richard -- it works well as a PB extension. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the ground crew. Only noticed one tiny bug on the Stinger Bee page -- I think it's a <set:6462> mod, but the link goes to the (yet to be produced) set (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
