  Sales updated for this week

The list of current sales is updated for this week. For those who don't use the web interface, Target, Kmart and TRU have various items on sale. BigW also features a PS2 LEGO SW game. Of course, for a better idea of what the sales are, have a look (...) (16 years ago, 28-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Michael Golaszewski

Hey, Not sure if he checks this forum any more or not, but the last time I posted here two years ago he contacted me. Does anyone have any contact information for Michael Golaszewski? The e-mail addresses I have for him (last used about a year ago) (...) (16 years ago, 22-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO Magnet and coupler statement.

The Natasha ... ah that brings back memories ... The magnet holders in the Natasha are small pieces: (URL) are the ones used in the current trains: (URL) with the trains the magnets were always part of the buffer assembly, so coming up with a (...) (16 years ago, 17-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO Magnet and coupler statement.

I think the crux of this notice is the 'magnets in small parts'. So they will keep selling magnets, but the piece that contains the magnet must be above a certain size (standard non-swallowing size, presumably). How small are the magnet-holding (...) (16 years ago, 17-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

Taj Mahal for an Aussie movie

Take a look at the Taj Mahal MOC being built for filming an Australian movie: (URL) hope some of us can get to meet Arthur when he's in Oz for the movie making. Kerry Proudly a member of LUGnet & Brisbane Lego Train Group (BLTG) (16 years ago, 17-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO Magnet and coupler statement.

(...) magnets. Does that imply that TLG will stop using magnets in other sets? Or will the new train magnets be used more widely. I am thinking of sets like the UCS Imperial Star Destroyer etc that make extensive use of magnets. Kerry Proudly a (...) (16 years ago, 17-May-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.starwars)
