Re: 4954 is in Myer... *glee*

(...) Yes, me too! I went in this morning to snap one up. The box was marked $99 so I was a bit disappointed, but it scanned at the cash register as $79, so I was a happy camper after all. Thanks, Richard for the info! Kerry (17 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 4954 is in Myer... *glee*

(...) Oh I have one of these lovely sets now... strokes the 4954, thanks for the information on it being on sale, I never pay full price so was in there bright and early getting one from the Brisbane store. (17 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Lego club Question

(...) Thanks, I didn't think about booking a scout hall... and I gave a weeks notice.. thank you for your input (17 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego club Question

Excellent and comprehensive list Kerry (...) Down in Melbourne, we do a mix of private/public locations. We have found Community halls, and scout halls can be books for a small fee (Usually a gold coin donation), This enables us to have meets in (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 4954 is in Myer... *glee*

(...) Very stylish. RRP is $99. Myers in the Queen St mall in Brisbane are giving them away for an unlisted discount, at $79. Not bad. Not bad at all. And the seaport is $99 instead of $129. Also not so bad. Pretty bad for my credit card though... (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Lego club Question

(...) What do you mean brikwars is boring.... well I am comparing to other wargames and if you aren't used to other wargames you'll find brikwars boring.. but anyway thanks for the info, I have been inspired.. :) (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego club Question

Oops, I forgot Brickwars! How could I have done that? (probably because I find it about as dull as watching paint dry). Anyhow, some lego groups play a lot of Brickwars (wargaming with Lego). Kerry (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego club Question

Most of the lego clubs here in Australia are informal. Local meetings are usually just a case of someone saying "everyone come over to my house on <SuchAndSuchADate>" where the activities can be things like: * bring whatever new MOCs you have * (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Lego club Question

Hello, I am in the process of creating a LUG group local to christchurch New Zealand. I am mainly asking people who attend lego user groups. I just want to know what you would do at a lego club (on a regular basis), where do people have their clubs (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Not negating the 6029.. but the 4954 is in Myer... *glee*

(...) Which set exactly? I can't find any 4954 listed. Do you mean 4956? (in which case $100 is a total rip-off) Kerry (17 years ago, 22-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Not negating the 6029.. but the 4954 is in Myer... *glee*

4954 is in Myer... (the town house) but $99.95... gee... do I have to be patient and wait for the sale (17 years ago, 22-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Is 6209 available in Aus?

(...) Thanks Richie. Unfortunately I discovered the price through other means so I think it will continue going nowhere fast. Tim (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Is 6209 available in Aus?

(...) Not widely, but I think there may still be one or two still around (David Jones?), going nowhere fast. Cheers Richie Dulin (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
