Re: Aust event 2005 (update #2) BrickVention!

(...) Great name! (You may want to put one of those cute 'tm's after it - and make a statement about ownership of the trademark too.) Cheers Richie Dulin (URL) (20 years ago, 15-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

To rhyme with BrickFest and BricksWest, we could go with BricksBest BrickQuest BrickZest (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: New sets/specials at Myer, TRU

(...) Perhaps you need to make a detour via the TRU at Knox City on Sunday, you might have more luck there - that's where I got mine. They also had a few helicopters left. Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: New sets/specials at Myer, TRU

(...) I asked the sales girl about it and she told me that it was because their layby room wasn't up to Workplace Health and Safety standards or some such thing. so I'm guessing it's a Chaddy thing only. and Ross, I too noticed the lack of Technic.   Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

(...) Better than 'bricks' or 'blocks' would be 'Lego': Why not a Legoworld Down Under? (Though that's one that we would need a formal licence for). Adieu Richie Dulin (URL) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, FTX)

Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

(...) Can't argue with solid reasoning like that. Bricks?! Pah! Those old fashioned parts are just for those kooky castle and town builders, but I guess Slopes-Plates-and-Gr...-Bits-fest doesn't really roll off the tongue. Allister. (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: New sets/specials at Myer, TRU

(...) Hey I live off lay-by! I want longer lay-bys - not none!! It would seem that not all TRU are lay-by free too, Northland had no problems 2 days ago. Troy (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

(...) Why wait for anyone's blessings/restrictio.../licensing ? It would be better if we had our own name and reputation. Not sure what this obsession with 'brick' is, they were always LEGO blocks to me :^) That's 'block', not 'BLOK' by the way :^P (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
