Re: TL-2 Chiron - New model

(...) This ship is cool! Normally I don't go for transforming spaceships, too many compromises in the ship form and the mech form, but this one is different. It deserves better pictures! (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: TL-2 Chiron - New model

(...) -snip- (...) More light! Try going outside on a sunny day, and making sure that the sun isn't behind the model (actually, you probably need to make sure that the model isn't between the camera and the sun - it's much easier that way).   Re: Bionicle (Roll Call) Update time

(...) Absolutely! It was quite a surprise for me to find that 'bley' wasn't intended as a contraction of 'Better Light grEY'. Cheers Richie Dulin (3 URLs) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: TL-2 Chiron - New model

(...) Cool. I love the clown shoes. (...) I'm no photograhpy expert, but for a start may I suggest putting your light source in front of the model, and maybe adding at least one more of them. cheers, Allister. (20 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Good value Lego at Toys'r'us

I was at the Toys'R'Us at Garden City (Brisbane) and they have a special on - buy any three sets and get the cheapest of the three for free. This means if you buy three sets the same price you get effectively a 33% discount - which is pretty good. (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Cloud City 10123 @ Kmart $199

Not sure if this has been posted before, but the subject says it all. Only one on the shelf. Probably end up like 8455 where they order one carton every six months and the price changes every week. -Brad (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
