  Re: Indiana Jones sets leaked?

(...) Well, the policy of removing leaks was (I think) established for the first time in August of 2000: (URL) I'm not sure if there's an official stance is on modified versus cancelled posts, but that's Rene's call. DaveE (17 years ago, 13-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed, FTX)

  Re: Indiana Jones sets leaked?

(...) Oh, man, is LUGNET going to be like FBTB or Classic-Castle.com now? Lame. Marc Nelson Jr. (17 years ago, 13-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed, FTX)

  Re: Indiana Jones sets leaked?

(...) Is that Lego's copyright? If so the image is still in its original location (URL) If not, well a copy was't made, anymore than any web surfing makes copies (i.e. download it to HD) (17 years ago, 12-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed, FTX)

  Re: Indiana Jones sets leaked?

(...) Wow, that was fast. Admins (and/or Moderators), you may as well just delete or lock the whole thread while you're at it. There's nothing to see here. (17 years ago, 12-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed, FTX)

  Re: Indiana Jones sets leaked?

(...) No. Indiana is a very powerful state in terms of LEGO use, but we're not (yet!) powerful enough to license our state name. Thanks for asking! (17 years ago, 12-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed, lugnet.loc.us.in.ind, lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: Retro-esque Batmobile

(...) Richie, Just as a note after the fact, the TV show batmobile used a Ford Concept car as it's base. The car was known as the Lincoln Futura, and it came out in the late 50's. The car was put in storage, but pulled a few years later and reworked (...) (17 years ago, 12-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, FTX)

  Re: Retro-esque Batmobile

(...) Yes. I believe I mentioned that in my post. (...) I'm pretty sure Batman did all the 'driving' in that relationship. Cheers Richie Dulin (17 years ago, 10-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, FTX)

  Re: Retro-esque Batmobile

(...) Now, to sound like a total GEEK (following should be read in the voice of Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons): In episode 105, 106 and 107, of the original 1966 Baman series, Batman and Robin travel to England to fight Lord Fogg, and it those (...)   Re: Retro-esque Batmobile

(...) Nice MOC, Richie-- really says "Batmobile". But what is this???: (URL) "Batman in Aussieland"? First, Batman drove the Batmobile, not the Boy Wonder. Now, even if you claim Batman is driving your MOC, the Batmobile had its steering wheel on (...) (17 years ago, 8-Sep-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, FTX)

  Retro-esque Batmobile

Da na na na na na Na na na na na na Na na na na na na BATMAN! Ahoy, I loved the original Batman TV series, and to this day remember the words to the theme song (see above), so I thought it might be fun to build the Batmobile from the series. I was (...)   Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) To anyone who is interested in picking this up, and intends to do so online, make sure to compare prices between the individual box sets and the full series pack.   Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) Yup. I always have trouble keeping the doctor vs. professor thing straight concerning Hugo Strange. And I should know better since I just recently read "Batman and the Monster Men". (...) Ack! As a big fan of the series I can't believe I (...) (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, FTX)

Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) Hugo Strange generally goes by the title "professor", probably so as to not be confused with Marvel's Dr. Strange, who is considerably stranger than Prof. Strange...which is not to say that Prof. Strange isn't strange in his own right. This is (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jun-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, FTX)
