Frank,

I was there yesterday (Sunday) and while it's smokey at the park, the park is
far from the fires, at least currently.  That's because it's hard to say
longterm as winds can chnage the direction of the fire very quickly, as well as
embers can travel 2 to 3 miles to start another fire.  If anyone has been around
forest fires before, it's a very similar situation here.  Lots of smoke and haze
everywhere.  And there is lots of ash raining down all over a huge part of
Southern Calif.  It's basically impacting the whole area (including parts of
Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange and San Diego Counties)
in some fashion.
