Attn: Lego UK,
Lego Direct,
Mr Brad Justus,
Dear Sirs,
Around march of this year I collated a list of ideas from
various LUGNET newsgroups. (The sources and authours being clearly stated.)
A printed copy of this list was given to a
representative of your organisation, at Hamleys in London.
He informed me that the list had been passed on to your designers in
Denamrk. I have not heard anything since despite including my contact
details.
Whilst I understand that you may have genuine reasons for not
responding I feel that some response would have been appropriate.
I however remain hopeful that you will consider the ideas.
(I have retained a copy of the list
in case it got lost in the system.)
My contact details (for Reference are):
Name: Mr Alex Farlie
Mailing Address: 168 White Hill
Chesham
Bucks.
HP5 1AZ
UK Telephone: (01494) 785662
I can also be reached via email at: ba124@city.ac.uk
until June 2000.
Amongst the ideas listed was one for a AFOL Lego Magazine simmilar to
that published by Meccano in the early 50's but Lego(R) orientaited.
(I also posted comment on this in lugnet.dearlego).
I would also like to be able to disscuss an idea for a Lego(R)
Haunted house. My justification for this idea is that most
children tell ghost stories. However I was not advocating stuff like
in some pulp childrens horror novels.. I will post further comment
on this idea if the community and yourselves request it.
I had not done so yet because I wanted to be sure that my ideas would be
considered fairly.
Some further ideas:
- Please revive the monorail - Possibly as part of the rock
Raiders range-(E.g a Crystal transport system?)
- Optrix- A set of Lego(R) elments for prisms, lenses etc.
NB one of your sister companies (ISBEN?) makes the
precsion optics that would be needed.
- Phantoma- A Huanted House
(Previously mentioned on lugnet.dear-lego)
- Raceway- A slot car racing scheme?
I apologise if this letter is too long but I did want to express my thoughts
Yours faithfully
Alex Farlie
