I'm not going for either position, but I have an idea the LD might want to
consider incorporating into their marketing strategy. At first I thought an
AFOL magazine similar to Mania might be interesting. Instead of comics of
legos aimed at kids, highlight projects done by adults. Some web pages of
projects are already suitable for publication, IMO. Then a second thought
occurred: wouldn't it be nice if TLG/LD hosted web pages of projects. No
magazine expense, plus they would gain extensive and spectacular examples of
what could be built if one buys enough bulk. :) Would also be nice to have
all the sites collected or mirrored in one place where they could always be
found. Sort of a Legoland on-line. This would fit into a B2C marketing
project IMO; testimonials. Just a thought.
