And these are just a few out of thousands of poor
quality bricks I bought during the last year....

I have had similar problems with a fair number of my newer pieces as
well: they are too far apart, too loose, etc. I've also had a much
larger than normal amount of new pieces that were chipped or slightly
deformed in some way. Also, a lot more of the printed parts (minifig
faces, tiles, etc.) are flawed.

Now, I expect some damage or mistakes to occur once in a while, but it's
been getting more regular lately. What could possibly be the reason for
lowering the quality of LEGO bricks? They need to get their QA back up
to par, I think.

(...) I agree 100%. I've noticed more smearing on paint recently, mostly on Star Wars minifigs. I've gotten at least two minifigs who's faces look like they're in a wind tunnel. As for the decreased quality of the plastic, I know that the newer (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Several 1x1 plates from my mosiac kit had excess plastic around the base of the plate from the molding process. -chris (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
