Maybe, just maybe they've finally realised that there ARE people who live
outside the US and are trying to put something together to assist these
people to have access to Lego Direct. Alternatively, they may have decided
to postpone release until they can cater to INTERNATIONAL demand, and not
just that of 1 country. [However, I doubt this...most 'International'
companies still seem to favor 1 country...and LEGO seems to have gone from a
company based in Denmark, and distributing world-wide to a company based in
the US, and catering to the US, with the dregs allowed to filter through to
other countries]

[Sorry about seeming bitter, but when you look back over Australian
catalogues against those from other countries, it seems that since the
internet took off, there has been a lot of US only sets produced, and other
countries [notably Australia] have had their ranges significantly reduced.
Not a good way to become the top childrens toy...or to keep people
interested in lego. I for one will probably cease to buy new lego (at least
in any reasonable quantity) should the range in Australia not receive a
significant boost either in the second half of the year, or early next year.

[1] This would have to include at least 50% of the soccer AND mini-fig packs
at a REASONABLE price. Otherwise, I may end up boycotting Lego in Australia,
and having it sent to me from overseas...It's cheaper that way, and
generally arrives a month or more before the sets are actually released in
Australia. [I hope Lego Australia is listening to this or that this message
is forwarded to them, as I'm not the only person with this complaint.]
Alternatively, I may just go back to collecting older sets, and not buying
new sets at all. [At least the models/sets were better than they are now,
design and parts-wise]

I've been wondering what's going on for a few weeks now.
Brad Justus has
said a lot of nice things, but so far it has been all talk
and PR and no
(visible) results.  We're still waiting for that list that
was to be announced
in early May.

· Initially, we will offer somewhere in the neighborhood • of 40 "basic"
elements (standard bricks, some tiles and plates, etc.). • The list for
the first available elements will be published in early May.

Hey wait, isn't it June?  It would be nice to hear SOMETHING
at least every
week or so (meaning 7-10 days).  At this point once a month
would be an
improvement!
