Was Jake talking about the tolerances of the actual mould whereas the Lego facts are refering to the bricks themselves. The moulds would need to be much more accurate than the bricks that came out of them. Dunno, just a thought (22 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

Well here we are in 2005, and it is the 50th Anniversary of the Lego System of Play. And it is also the 50th Anniversary for Lego in Sweden. In the next 7 years there will be the 50th Anniversary of Lego in (2006) Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Dear LEGO, I've followed with interest the Lego Factory Contest and I've submitted a couple of my own creations (just for fun). I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Lego StarWars 2005 V.I.P. Gala event at the LEGO showroom at 25th and Broadway, in NYC, as part of this year's Toy Fair, so naturally I went... I wish TLC would make these parts. Seeing earlier discussions I think I'm not alone! I've attempted 3rd angle projection drawings, showing top, side and underside, despite not having a drawing package. Drawing these parts in Paint is eyestrain city! (...)
