Interesting. I wonder if this is all using the old greys? (grins, ducks, runs)

I found this cite to be not very accurate,

“In total, the Lego project cost about $3,000 and Joey got no help from the Lego Company, as they only donate to certain non-profit organizations and the people around their company headquarters and factories.”

... and it shows LEGO in not the nicest light, which may not be totally fair.

It might be more accurate to say that LEGO doesn’t support random efforts, they do have an evaluation process that they use when deciding who to support.
