  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) I wonder did you buy any sets of assorted classic grey bricks from S@H, which are still available, months after being announced? Oh wait, no that's just a ruse by TLC to try to appease the AFOLs and make some money at the same time. ROSCO (22 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

Hi Jojo, <Eric said:> (...) <Jojo replied:> (...) Similar here. I didn't buy a single new set this year. All I bought so far was multiple copies of old (pre 2004) sets and old-colour bricks at BL and Lego S@H. On the sunny side, my CD collection (...)   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Amen! (...) I second, third, fourth and fifth that! Your job must be hell at times, no thanks to us whiney fans of LEGO. You have my heartfelt thanks. And that is all I have to say. (22 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) Sorry, I just came across this post, Dave! Yes, that is Ross my son. Well, he used to be younger;-) (He's actually 15 now) 8^0 I think Ross' age really didn't come into play; he was chosen based upon a lot of the micro-MOCs he had built in the (...) (...) <SNIPPAGE of the most outrageous thing I've ever read on LUGNET> How to react to your post? On one hand, I feel flushed with anger towards your imbecility, but on the other, I laugh at your comical puerility. On the other hand, I marvel at (...) (...) thank you, I've been thinking the same thing! (...) that is true, and now you can achieve an even better look with 4+ shades of grey, try throwing in a couple of black and white pieces as well, awsome! not only that, but you can still get the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

At the risk of adding absolutly nothing constructive or positive to this "discussion", I feel the need to say my piece. Shortly after I became a member of Lugnet, I jumped into a discussion between Lugnet and a Lego employee. I have no idea who it (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

Hi Jake, I NEVER get involved with controversial issues on LUGNET, but I couldn't stay quiet any longer (or I might explode into a million minifig parts). First off, the color change thing. OK, it's a done deal. People GET OVER IT!!!! If you don't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego) !!
