  Re: Promo Sets

Thinking of posing as a company, so you can get some promo sets developed for yourself? (Though some Lugnet Promo Sets would be kinda cool...) Steve (26 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Promo Sets

(...) I would never attempt to fraud them out. But perhaps we could do something together as a community. No harm in asking. Jude (26 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego)

Re: in USA too (was: Re: LEGO Direct in Europe)

Hello Eric, hello everybody, (...) I think there is one on the German site, but it was only by translating its label back to English that I have been able to figure what it is intended for. So, without having checked, I would think that it also does (...) (26 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: So did you wonder about me?

(...) But still, the 1x1 plates can be twisted, making them come off pretty easily. Now, a 2x4 plate, say, on the middle of a large plate, that is difficult to take off. But the worst has to be the 1x1 joystick base. That one is really hard to get (...) (26 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: in USA too (was: Re: LEGO Direct in Europe)

There is definitely one on the Canadian site, as of Nov 15th. Jeff Elliott (...) (26 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: LEGO Direct in Europe

Hello everybody, here is the answer I got for my recent letter to LEGO Shop@Home about the user (un)friendliness of their web site: --8<--8<--8<--8<--8<...--8<--8<-- Dear Mr Lehner, Many thanks for contacting LEGO® Shop at Home.Your useful and (...)   Mosaic: ongoing problems resolved

(...) The extra parts arrived this morning - a full pack of #3. Kudos to Lego for sorting this out quickly - both the correction packet and the 'correction-correction' packet were sent UPS next day air. Andrew (26 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Promo Sets

I dunno, would it be fraud? It's not hard to set yourself up as an organisation or something - providing you could stump up the cash, you should be OK... Now let's see... Dear Lego - I represent <blah> and would like to do a promotion involving lego (...) (26 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Are 9V trains alive?

Could someone at Lego please tell us if the rumors are true that the 9V train line is going to be discontinued? Rose (26 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Are 9V trains alive?

Although I have speculated about the demise of the 9 volt train line in past posts, I have it upon pretty good authority that this rumor isn't only false, but that TLC will be expanding the 9 volt line. No real details, sorry. And I am not an (...) (26 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)

  R Lego stores franchised?

Are the Lego imagination Centers and other stores regular franchises? How would one go about acqiuring information about franchise? (26 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: R Lego stores franchised?

(...) They are owned and operated by the Global Family Attractions division of LEGO. They are expanding and plan to open many new stores over the next few years. I doubt they will ever franchise their stores. KL (26 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: R Lego stores franchised?

(...) Is there a list of future store locations? Could sure use one in the Seattle area. ;^) ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (26 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Chrome Set Crisis

Lego, You truly need to clean up your act with this. I ordered 2 4819 rebel chariots yesterday, and now they are "not availible" Also, I have to spend long periods of time to get any of the other chrome sets because they are not on some of the (...) (26 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Chrome Set Crisis

(...) Gosh, I am so sick of you "free lunch" people! Why should lego clean up it's act just for you? Will you purchase the requisite numbers of this set that will make it worth TLC's ($$$!) effort to clean up it's act for you? Bottom line -- will it (...) (26 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego)

Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

Brad Justus of LEGO Direct approached us last week with a bold new idea: He would like to allow the community to design its own collection of LEGO branded items, to be sold online by The LEGO Company through a third party such as CafePress.com, with (...)   Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

Sounds like a great idea to me! I can think of several ideas I would be interested in (and several I wouldn't but I am sure others would). I vote for a Timmy Tee . Just a great big Timmy with Ball Cap and Green "T" Torso. Eric Kingsley (...) (26 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Wow, complicated. So basically, all the LEGO Company would be doing is approving the designs and allowing CafePress and LUGNET to make some money off the products? Depending on the prices, I could definitely be interested. I'd like to see some (...) (26 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) How about making the T-shirt be *just* the torso (front and back), so that we can pretend we *are* the minifigs, not just picturing them. (Is that too subtle?) /Eric McC/ (26 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
