    4755 Knight Bus —Aaron West
This set really has turned out to be a great gem of the line. If you are a fan of Town or Train sets, this is definitely a great parts pack. I love the assorment of Purple parts in it. This was actually the first of the new Prisoner sets I opened, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Same here. Picked one up. Very noticable color variations in the purple. I keep meaning to call to complain. Even between the same kind of piece (train windows, or 2x4 bricks, for example) there is variation. Its just unsatisfactory. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: 4755 Knight Bus —James Brink
I picked up a copy of the new Hagrid's Hut last night. There was considerable variation in the new dark grey plates in the floor of the hut, and I noticed some differences between some of the new light grey pieces as well. I'm starting to lose my (...)           Re: 4755 Knight Bus —Aaron West
(...) Perhaps it is the lighting available when going through parts, but I have not seen noticable difference in color on the 5 different Potter sets I have, or in the Spider-Man sets. The purple and grey shades on the Hut and Bus are not in any (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: 4755 Knight Bus —Brad Hamilton
I noticed very minor differences in dark gray parts in the new Hogwarts castle. I wasn't so happy, but the differences are minor enough not to be a huge problem. "Alfred Speredelozzi" <alfredjr@alum.rpi.edu> wrote in message (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: 4755 Knight Bus —Peter vd Heijden
(...) My copy, as well as my mini Knight Bus, also has different shades of purple. Some types of bricks seem to be slightly different from other types. This might have to do with the bricks coming from different countries. Or lightfall? However, (...) (21 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: 4755 Knight Bus —Aaron West
What I am noticing on these 2004 sets is something I never really paid attention too before. On the box bottom, they state that parts included may come from Korea, Denmark and Switzerland. Could be the new Korean factory is not pullin up to company (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: 4755 Knight Bus —Peter vd Heijden
(...) Strange... my versions (European) mention bricks coming only from Denmark and Czech Republic. So maybe we now even have 3 or 4 different tones of purple ;-( Peter. (21 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)
