My copy, as well as my mini Knight Bus, also has different shades of purple.
Some types of bricks seem to be slightly different from other types. This might
have to do with the bricks coming from different countries. Or lightfall?
However, its barely noticible looking as single bricks, but built together it
clearly shows.

| What I am noticing on these 2004 sets is something I never really paid attention too before. On the box bottom, they state that parts included may come from Korea, Denmark and Switzerland. Could be the new Korean factory is not pullin up to company (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

| This set really has turned out to be a great gem of the line. If you are a fan of Town or Train sets, this is definitely a great parts pack. I love the assorment of Purple parts in it. This was actually the first of the new Prisoner sets I opened, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)
