Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —Kevin Wilson
In this pic: (URL) appears to be a one-piece hut in this set (along with a lot of other very nice pieces). Anyone know more about this? Kevin ---...--- Farmhouse kit: (URL) TOWN PLANNING information: (URL) Lego parts store: (URL) Guild of (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —Benjamin Medinets
(...) I initially assumed that it was the device to make a shrieking sound... because why would it need batteries. So maybe it still does make a shrieking sound. You get 2 Professor Lupin minifigs... one without a wolf-head and one with. As far as I (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Hi, here's an additional picture (although it doesn't explain what use this piece has): (URL) Some more pictures of new sets made at the german 'Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg 2002' by 1000steine.de member Heiko 'heikoloogi' Baum you can see here: (...)         Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —Jason J. Railton
(...) I wondered if it was something to make the shack move on its foundations. That picture suggests its like a giant version of the mechanism in a retractable biro though. Maybe you press the top in, and a compartment inside rotates to swap one (...) (21 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —David Laswell
(...) That's exactly what it does. You're supposed to just slap the thing down over top of the chosen minifig, press the button, quickly lift the shack away, and leave the other minifig/dog/whatever standing exactly where the original minifig was.      (...) Right now the only confirmed pieces are 4x tan in #3579 NHL Street Hockey ($19.99 in May), but now that the mold has been tooled up, I'm sure more colors will become available. (21 years ago, 7-Mar-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —Daan Bargerbos
(...) Hi Tim, by building the new Harry Potter castle from the pictures available right now on the internet, I'm pretty sure there are also 4 of them in the new HP castle (4757). I've made use of the already available light gray round bricks See (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: Shrieking Shack one-piece hut? —David Laswell
(...) Hmm, now that I look closer, 4753 Sirius Black's Escape also appears to have 2x tan and 4x gunmetal grey 4x4 macaronis. I also think I might see some light-bley ones around the cockpit and dorsal gun turret on the new Millennium Falcon. (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)
