On this page:
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/catalogs/2000/c00am-100dpi/c00am-10.html
they display light poles similar to the one in the soccer sets
(#3313) in the upper right hand corner... Does that mean they'll
be new ones this year? :)
And the guy down in the bottom right hand, in the Cherry picker thing;
does that imply there will be a new News Crew set?
The pterodactyl looks kinda stupid... but I like the polar bears. The
build bolder ice-cubes look cool, but I don't know what I'll use
them in yet. :)

| (...) I noticed that too. I sure hope they're available! So, what are people's thoughts on the big soccer set? (3409) I think it's a bunch of modules with green 2x2 tiles holding them together (3401 would be one module). (...) Set #3408 on page 3 (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

| (...) At least the pterodactyls aren't as big as the nearly-unmoveable Tyrannasaurs and Triceratops. What a waste of both plastic and a really cool idea. LEGO == build out of pieces. Someone's not getting this. Steve (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
