    How to McDonald's Sets Cheaper! —Tamyra Teed
   I've gone to 2 McD's tonight looking to see if any of them have more than the 1st set, and no luck.. all we've got here is number 1 so far.       Here in Knoxville the Happy meals are $1.59 without a drink (plain Hamburger) - the same price for just the toy; however... Afriend I have scouting for me in Huntsville, AL gets 2 sets and a large drink for $2.73 - 0.99 for the drink, 0.49 each set (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

   2 McD stores in the Oakland area are charging $1.83 for the toy only. They are the Fruitvale/MacArthur store and the 66th/San Pablo store (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ca)
