Cleaning Legos with a WaterPik?

Last night I was thinking about cleaning lego pieces, and suddenly, it hit me!
Use a WaterPik(sp?)!  Has anyone ever tried this?  We got rid of ours years
ago, so I can't try it out.

P.S.  A WaterPik is a device (and the company that makes it) that uses jets of
water to clean teeth.  I think i've seen reports saying they work better than
brushing alone, but I'm not sure.
