Today I received a set I won on eBay.
The set is 1896 Trauma Team
(http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/?query=1896 ) and my question is around
the set number. Pause shows this set as part of the RSQ911 theme but all of
the other RSQ911 sets are in the 6XXX (6389, 6511, 6531, and 6593) range.
Anyone know why this set has an unusual number? Seems like sets in 18xx
have typically been promotional sets. There are 21 sets in the 18xx series
on Huw Millington's promotional database.

| (...) This was a limited release set and most likely was only available in the US. It certainly wasn't available in this part of the world (New Zealand). Limited release sets and promotional sets typically use 1xxx or 2xxx set numbers. Some of these (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
