And your BO could also use some of the kitty of money that is brought in • to get
clearence items like Troy and others do and add them to the overall bulk
available.  But the BO if it is a LUGNET member would probably need funds • to
just open the BO.  Any takers in this?

I wouldn't mind doing something like this, it just takes the money (which I
don't have yet!).  But i'm getting there...I'm getting more and more money
as I go along, with reinvesting all of the money I get from my auctions into
buying more lego on clearance.  I still miss more then I get though, since I
don't always have enough money at the right time  :/

I like the idea too, and it could be set up as a member type thing to help you
get the kitty up, so each person who wants to buy joins in.  That would allow
you greater buying power, and I'd be willing to look for sets here at some of
those lowered prices to help you fill out the orders.

But you'd also need a list of the parts wanted and the true quanity people are
searching for.  To help you decide whether it would be best to buy 50 service
packs and break them down to send back out or say 10 starwars sets to sell out
particular pieces.

It is rare that I pay full price for the sets I get, but man, I have parts • here
that I will never use.  I would be willing to add them to an inventory for
someone else to purchase if they wish.

Hey Troy, we don't live that far apart, want to go into business???

This is all starting to sound like an elaborate version of Auczilla combined
with Jambalaya.  Now, instead of Todd buying sets and parting them out, someone
would be collecting everyone's bricks they don't want (for a price), and
reparting them and reselling them.  It's an interesting concept, sort of LEGO
Salvation Army Thrift Store.
