LEGO Australia has by all accounts a very large stock of old sets/pieces but
the spm there isn't too keen on getting more.  On the whole LEGO Australia's
spare parts operation is far bigger with much more stock on hand.

Umm....maybe if I'm in that part of the world I may be able to use my charm
(1) and get a tour of the place......

Thanks for the update, Sanjay. So that means that our schemes are for naught. I'd like to thank everyone who sent me mail "pledging" funds, offering places to sort, organizational help, etc. I'm not going to name names but you'd be surprised by how (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
