Hey there.
I was wondering if anyone has considered the possibility of (or reason for)
an online personal set database. I was thinking of doing it myself since I
need a web/sql project (I don't have the set picture resources to make it
really cool). I could easily do a username/password entry system, add a
set, delete a set, list sets etc. but would something like this be of any
use?
And, would people trust their set list anywhere other than their computer?
I think it would be neat to be somewhere other than home and be able to
access my set database (I currently have an asp page that dynamically lists
LEGO sets and piece counts on my home server), and for those LEGO
enthusiasts using public libraries' web machines 'cause they don't own their
own would be able to keep track of their stuff electronically.
Any thoughts on this? I realize this is rambling, but it is a project I've
been hawing about for a while, and I might just do it for fun to use with
friends.
