Re: Eric Brok has passed away!!

A few weeks have passed, but I still wanted to add my deepest condolences to Eric's friends and family on his passing. I never knew Eric personally, but was definitely one of his biggest fans. His Estuary Stronghold is still one of my all-time (...) (17 years ago, 20-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

(...) I can't thank you enough for your very easy to use and highly effective software!!!!!!! Without it, I was not looking forward to manually backing up hundreds of pics from BS. I was one of those unfortunate users (losers) that did not have (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

(...) It's obvious Kevin has a reason for doing this, and it's likely to be that his server is getting pounded. If we choose to circumvent it, he will most likely do something else to reduce the load, maybe even take the site down early. I would (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

(...) it's because that directory really is missing. it's starting to look like you can only download your own directory if you are logged in. i just made changes to BS Backup so you can login to your account and download your personal directory or (...)   Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

(...) Bob - is there a way to modify BS Backup when attempting to download via source directory to not have to verify user directory? An example - I want gallery (URL) but when I enter that into BSBackup I get an error: (URL) ERROR - i can't find (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites

(...) BTW -- you can still use google cached view of the member pages to view what they have. e.g: <link (URL) -mark (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites

(...) That screenshot reminds me of one of the BS members that I wanted to get some pics of -- Legodreams. Now that I cannot access BS via member name does anyone have links to Legodreams galleries? -mark (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Brickshelf back up (at least temporarily)

(...) Duane- You heard it from me because I posted first. :) This was public knowledge at the time I posted. Past history will show that postings from Brickshelf directly are few and far between.   Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

(...) i'm really glad that people are getting good use of BS Backup. Thank you for all the kind words that you and everyone else has sent. any modifications needed to the software done by me or others are ok with me. the more people that can be (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brickshelf back up (at least temporarily)

(...) First, I have to wonder why it is that we are hearing this type of news from you instead of Kevin. I don't mean to insult, but he has been conspicuously silent on the closure of Brickshelf. I little information for the community to chew on (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: No Longer able to access by member

(...) Yeah, I was starting to wonder how much traffic Kevin was suffering. I know I have about 8 GB of files spread over 2 computers. I started doing the math in my head. I hope he is not paying by bandwidth. Is so, I hope he communicates to the (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Longer able to access by member

(...) Yep. This effects the Mac backup script I wrote, too (-f works, but -m will quit without accomplishing anything). If you know the name of a user's subfolders, you can still find them with URLs like (URL) which redirects you to the (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: BS Backup Update - Version 0.0.14

Hi, Bob. Thank you so much for works! You've made an impressive wide way for our Exodus. In Japan, my LEGO-mate MUTCHY localized your software for Japanese.   Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites - No Longer able to access by member

Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites - No Longer able to access by member

(...) Hey, I think Kevin has altered the Brickshelf code. You are no longer able to access the search features or the member search. Using Bob's BS Backup, you can only download files via folder number. Anybody else having the same problem? Todd (17 years ago, 19-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)
