Re: Brickshelf Backup Crawler for Mac

(...) I didn't have any problem compiling and installing wget (although I did have to change the default install path by hand from /usr/local to /opt/local so that it would be in my pre-existing path). However, I suspect that most Mac users would be (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Lost links

I'm not a programmer, but would it be possible to make an web site that people can enter there Brickshelf id and give a link to the new web site/s?   Re: Revitalizing or Replacing BrickShelf In Some Form

This is what I had hoped for, especially if the old links could be preserved. I'd love to see a tiered version of Brickshelf to make it sustainable. God Bless, Nathan BTW re your other recent post, I have no online presence requirement at the moment (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites

(...) Arg. I really liked that folder on the greatest hits page that contained a lot of great pics from LLC. Now the greatest hits function is gone. Anyone remember the name of that particular folder? JOHN (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Brickshelf Backup Crawler for Mac

(...) There are many instructions how to install wget and even some installers. curl can't beat 'wget -m' afaik. (...) No official repository afaik. Last I heard was that we want to build it, but that requires a developer with the time to build it! (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Supportive Community

Dear fellow LEGO fans and LDraw users, I was deeply impressed reading how many would have supported BrickShelf with fees to keep the site alive. Some expressed they weren't aware that they could become paying members to get rid off the ads, others (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw) !!

Re: An Open Letter to Kevin (BrickShelf)

As someone who used Brickshelf almost every day for the last 6 years, I would also like say thank you. I guess I took for granted the fact that the site cost money, time and energy, among other things. I did not donate money, and never knew I could, (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

LEGO already has an image hosting service, but it's for NXT creations only: (URL) is not averse to running something like Brickshelf/MOCpages, but LEGO's version is clearly meant to promote the Mindstorms brand. I would like to see LEGOFan.com or (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brickshelf back up (at least temporarily) loss of pictures

Re: Revitalizing or Replacing BrickShelf In Some Form

(...) Good luck with that one. When piratebricks.com expired the EB Pirate community (now (URL) classic-Pirates.com>) was right there to register before it expired but somehow it got hijacked by some &%#@!*&#! selling ads for colonoscopys!
